A 59-year-old father of two great boys and step-father to two wonderful step-daughters. Vivienne, my wife is the cement that holds us lot together.
I am a recovering alcoholic with 34-years of continual sobriety. I love being sober, every day!
After completing a British Steel Corporation Indentured Apprenticeship, I moved into the construction industry and in in 1993 I landed in the oil and gas drilling industry. I am still in that industry today.
In 2013 I took an office position and within weeks was totally confused, so much so I wanted to run away and quit. I decided to go to university part-time and succeeded in gaining a BA Hons in Business, an MBA and now am 3-years into a doctorate.

I love nothing more than playing golf with my wife, anywhere on this planet that we are able to play.
The picture above is quite significant as it was taken at Mount Juliet Golf Club in Kilkenny, Ireland. https://www.mountjuliet.ie/golf/ It was probably the last time I played a decent round and after that point my golf went rapidly downhill. The Parkinson's unbeknown to me was already active.
