Happy Chinese New Year!
The year of the Rabbit is upon us and apparently, being born in 1963 I am a Rabbit.
Allegedly, people born in the Rabbit year are to expect big changes health-wise, career-wise and relationship-wise. It looks as if I am a year in front of the Rabbit, using these measurements....two out of three changed for me last year! Also, the Year of the Rabbit represents peaceful and patient energy...so hopefully that bit is true for me as patience and peacefulness are not my strongest traits.

What did the New Year bring for you? For me it brought a sinus infection which affected my newly created exercise regime. Not being an exercise fan or gym boy, I was quite shocked at how disappointed I was that my routine was affected.
Chinese New Year also brings a series of family visits, starting with New Years day, normally a trip to the temple and finished of with some vegetarian food. Handing red packets, known as Hongbao, which have a lucky amount of money inside. The money is always brand new notes.

Looking forward into the New Year, I have my first follow-up appointment since being diagnosed with Parkinson's, with the neurologist next week. Looking forward to that!
On the exciting news front....the golf swing is back and I am starting to enjoy it again. It took some time to adjust the Dopamine tablets but we seek progress not perfection.
Next time, I will update on the appointment!

Happy new year to you Peter. It is great for you mentally and physically that you have adapted to be able to play golf again. It sounded like that was one of the biggest disappointments with your diagnosis. So, adaptation to be able to get back on the course is a big win … well done
